Development of a country or a small part of a
single megye involves pulling a lot of stuff out of the ground (or sea, or
air) and putting it to effective use. Resource development need not be
just mining or logging, but rather part and parcel of a master plan for the
land. Renewable resources can be restored -- we do. We reforest,
restore farmland, put streams back in place and restore their wildlife, even
erase strip mines' scars.
Resources Division is so large that it is split in two, roughly along the lines
of renewables (Forestry Division) and extraction (Mining Division).
