Headquarters Operations Division
We recognize that there is no one-size-fits-all
method of business operation, especially across as many disparate companies
as make up TVDC. The central office does not impose methods on
subsidiaries, only results required and standards of accounting.
Common-use systems are run by the HQ office and offered to subsidiaries as
services, to be made use of as they see fit, on a cost-sharing basis.
Some of our companies are fairly small, and having the clout of the parent
corporation in dealing with realty agencies or insurance providers is a huge
benefit. Though our finance division actually owns banks, the HQ
Finance Group runs a cooperative credit union all TVDC subsidiaries' employees
are eligible to join.
